TUESDAY (7:00 p.m.) – The January 29 Behind the Lens Seminar film is The Little Foxes directed by William Wyler,followed by a Q&A session with Tom Blank.  Cost is $30 for series or $5 per time.


WEDNESDAY (10:30-11:45 a.m.) – Mellow Kundalini Yoga, Meditation, & Gong Relaxation with Sunny Hills (formerly Spiritual Yoga, Meditation & Gong)Emphasis is on meditation and relaxation, with physical stretching primarily as a tune-up for beautiful meditations anyone can do. This is easy yoga, perfect for beginners and people who think they cannot do yoga. Drop-ins welcome. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket, plus optional pillow or cushion for extra comfort. SATURDAY (1:00-4:30 p.m.) - SoulCollage® Workshop with Mary McDougal in the Fillmore Wing. Join Mary and create your personal deck of SoulCollage® cards – visual expressions of who you really are, what you love, and what you believe. All materials provided. – 7:00-8:00 p.m. – 1st Wednesday Meditation Service.  Join Jon West inthe Sanctuary for our monthly meditation service. The hour will be mostly silent meditation interspersed with devotional chanting and an inspirational reading or two. Donation basis.


THURSDAY
– 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. – Joy of Watercolor. The emphasis of this class is on joy. Come and explore painting with watercolor in an encouraging and fun atmosphere. All skill levels welcome. For more information, contact Ellen Ticknor at 541-344-1490.

FRIDAY – (7:00 p.m.) – February Movie Night at Unity. We will be showing the movie The Giver, directed by Phillip Noyce, in the sanctuary followed by a circle discussion with Ann. Free – donations accepted.


SATURDAY - (6:00-9:00 p.m.) – Reiki Do Satori Open House. This monthly event is open to all who are interested in receiving a short, free Reiki session for relaxation and/or healing. Reiki practitioners who would like to be part of this event are also welcome. Donations accepted.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 14 (7:00-8:30 p.m.) – Alchemical Crystal Singing Bowls, Toning, and Guided Meditation/Activation with Nancy Hopps. Join Nancy for a powerfully joyful, deeply renewing experience during for the 17th annual world sound healing day. Cost $20 donation at the door (no one turned away).

 
WEDNESDAYS, FEBRUARY 20-MARCH 13 (6:30-8:30 p.m.) – Unity Foundations with Jon West. In this 4-week series we will explore Unity’s basic principles at a deeper level. Attendees can choose to form an ongoing spiritual support circle afterwards. Donation basis. Sign up in the Fellowship Hall.


SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24 (12:00-1:00 p.m.) – Unity’s Annual Congregational Meeting. Join us for lunch and our Annual Meeting where we will bless our outgoing board members, elect new board members, review our accomplishments of 2018, and envision possibilities for the future. Childcare is offered. 

 

FEBRUARY COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Collecting Kitchen & Utility Items: We are working with the Church of the Resurrection to provide Home Starter Kits to families who are moving into permanent housing. These families have been homeless for some time, and often do not have the basic items to set up a new home. In February we will be collecting donations of new or lightly used kitchen and utility items:  Dinner plates, frying pans, paring knives, Soup/cereal bowls, Saucepans, Mugs, Cooking spoons, Kitchen towels, Potholders, Cloth grocery bags, Drinking glasses, Pancake turners, Knives, forks, spoons, Vegetable peelers, Laundry detergent, Dish detergent, Laundry basket, Scrubber sponges, Paper towels, and Aluminum foil. A container will be in the foyer for these donations. For more information, contact Grace Low at 281-507-2707.
