About Membership

If you wish Unity of the Valley to be your spiritual home, consider becoming a member! Formal membership serves both an organizational and personal purpose.

Organizational: Our membership list tells us who is eligible to vote in our elections, who can serve on our Board of Trustees, and who needs to be contacted in any special situations or emergencies.

Personal: When you consciously affirm you are part of a community, you strengthen your sense of connection to it.  Affirming membership in Unity also affirms your intention to grow and express your highest potential.  As each person makes this commitment to themselves, they help this entire spiritual community shine brighter.

To qualify: The sole qualification for membership is to complete our class on basic Unity principles. This in-person class is offered twice a year and involves five 90-minute sessions. If you have completed a similar course in another Unity community, you can have your credits transferred here. Your membership with us is completely voluntary and you can withdraw it any time.
