		A Message from Our Associate Minister, Rev. Sherry Lady One of the things I enjoy most in our church is our classes, as either a participant or a facilitator. In either capacity, I always learn something new, and get better acquainted with our wonderful congregants - You! - and deepen my connection to Spirit.

We are fortunate to have the opportunity to offer a wide variety of ways to be spiritually fed, and I am delighted to share with you our upcoming classes for this Fall.

I invite you to explore, expand and enhance your life through the classes listed below.  They change every quarter, so be sure to check in along the way to see what you can add to your growing experience. I am eager to share in the experience with you.

Unity Way of Life: Foundations, Facilitated by Revs. Ed Conrad & Sherry Lady
Tuesdays, March 6-April 10
7:00 to 9:00 PM

This six-week course will include Unity's history, principles, teachings on prayer, meditation, forgiveness, health and wholeness, prosperity and the Bible with practical tools for weaving all of these into daily life.
Classes are presented in an interactive, playful and shared-learning atmosphere. Come and explore and discover how and why Unity has become a beacon of light, hope and transformation around the world.

Keys to the Kingdom: Wisdom of the Ages and Sages, Tuesdays, January 17 – March 20 6:30-8:30 pm Facilitated by Sherry Lady and Inge Tarantola. Come and explore with us the many aspects of walking a spiritual path, including prayer, faith, hope, prosperous living, roadblocks, diversions, experiences of joy, compassionate living, disciplines, wonderings and wanderings - and a few more. Our time together will include teachings of the Wisdom teachers, present-day luminaries, and prominent New Thought teachers, including the Fillmores, and building frameworks for spiritual growth and inspiration for your journey. In this brand-new curriculum offering, each class will be self-contained with a little carry-over content wise, yet it is motivating and rich in content. All materials, including snacks, will be provided.

Soul of the Heart Sacred Circle – Second & Fourth Thursdays, 7-9 pm. This group meets in a safe and sacred space where men and women can support each other, learn from one another, laugh, share, cry, teach, and expand their consciousness. We learn practical strategies and tools for self- empowerment, compassion, forgiveness and peace that support non-violent choices in our day-to-day living. Taizé Services are held on the first Sunday of each month at 7 pm. This wonderful healing service invites and upholds our inner connection to Spirit through prayer, meditation, chanting, and an opportunity for hands- on healing prayer. Prayer requests can be for yourself or others − for celebration, gratitude, and/or healing of body, mind, and spirit. Chants are quietly voiced again and again to still the mind and open the heart. Please join us for this time of contemplation, prayer, and music that calls forth the Presence of Spirit, and sustains our connection with that Divine Presence within and all around us.

"Coming Alive" Theater Class - Facilitated by Sunny Schneider, Gary Wymore, and Sherry Lady - Class meets Thursdays in the sanctuary from 7 to 9 pm. Meditation Circles (Fillmore Wing)
Mondays, 5:30-6:30 pm
The Monday group welcomes all meditation approaches and drop-ins. Currently they are reading The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer. They meditate for 30 minutes. For more information, contact Laurie Cracraft 541-345-7563.

Meditation Circles (Fillmore Wing)
Thursday, 5:30-6:45 pm
The Thursday group practices “passage meditation” as taught by Eknath Easwaran, a modern mystic. They currently are studying a video series on the teachings of the Buddha. This group also meditates for 30 minutes. Newcomers are welcome! Please review the instructions for Passage Meditation at www.easwaran.org before coming. Metaphysical Studies (Peace Chapel)
Every Tuesday, 10:00-11:15 am
Fundamentals of Metaphysics is an exploration of the commonly held metaphysical principles and concepts inherent in our Unity system of thought. The class focuses on the writings of metaphysical authors, including Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, Eric Butterworth, Joel Goldsmith, and others. Class meetings include time for prayer, readings, and discussion. Judy Richardson (541-484-1958) and Janet Chandler (541-485-5235) facilitate this metaphysical group.

A Course In Miracles (Fillmore Wing)
Mon, 6:00-7:30 PM & Wed, 10:00-11:45 am
Patricia Robinett (541-484-0731) facilitates the Monday group, and Valerie Keartes (541-914-0431) facilitates the Wednesday group. Drop-ins are welcome at both groups! Starting in January 2012, the Monday group will be starting at the beginning of the ACIM book.

Spiritual Exploration (Garden Room)
Wednesday, 10:00-11:15 am 
This group is currently studying the World’s Great Religions: An Exploration of Hinduism They are examining the early cultures indigenous to northern India and the Indus Valley, and the migration of the Aryans from Central Asia.  We will then move from the Vedic period to classical Hinduism, and include the philosophical components of the religion, plus the spiritual disciplines, rituals, festivals and pilgrimages. Guest presenter via DVD is Professor Mark Muesse, Professor of Religious Studies at Rhodes College. Class facilitator is Rev. Sherry Lady. Love offering accepted. Click here for flyer.
